From Jessica who answered the phone and answered all my questions to Craig who performed the service, CUSTOMER SERVICE and PERFORMANCE were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone with a heating issue.
We had a problem with our A/C unit and saw a truck in North Syracuse Route 11. took their phone number and called when we got back home. They came out that same day and got our unit back running in no time. We were glad we saw their truck. We plan on having them come in the spring and do a check of our unit before the heat of the summer comes.
Tom Jean and his crew were on time, efficient and courteous to us and our two dogs. He explained everything that would happen in the process of installing a new boiler, piping and radiators in our home so that we were not caught off guard at any of the installation process.
The crew that accompanied him were friendly, knowledgable and cleaned up their worksite (our home) each day for the entire five day install. There was no tools, dust or debris left in our home. A wonderful job done by this crew. And a beautiful modern install to our century old home.
Tom's estimate was completely accurate as well, there were no extra costs, fees, or add-ons -- what he quoted was what we paid.

After three tries, I finally found a heating company I can trust!! I was so impressed with every step of my service - from making the appointment to the quick response time to the honest and quality work that was done. We have a boiler that needs antifreeze, and the two other companies I dealt with both overcharged me, told me we needed more gallons of it than we did, and I still had problems with my boiler after they were done. With Syracuse Energy Systems, I was told exactly what the problem was and given options on how to deal with it. In the end, I had some parts replaced (which was not part of the estimate from the other company) and new antifreeze put in. With the other companies, I had been quoted a ridiculous price for the antifreeze and told I would need many more gallons than I actually needed. When the job was said and done, I paid half of what the other company had quoted me, and I had more work done, and SES even left the extra antifreeze for me to use next time the boiler is serviced.
I can't say enough good things about this company and am so we glad we found them! Look no further!
When I bought my house, it already had the heating and air conditioning system. Tom Jean went out of his way when I first moved in and came over and explained how my furnace works. Tom was very personable. Made a point to make sure my kids weren't stuck without a furnace overnight. Didn't sell me anything I didn't need. Suggested no more than what I did. Price was fair. I'll use his service again if my furnace acts up again.

Syracuse Energy Systems has been servicing my furnace and heating needs for several years now. I find them to be prompt to reply to any service call I've had, and trustworthy in their opinion as to what needs to be done. My system is a bit antiquated and convoluted (lots of different "zones" in the house). Tom has never seemed intimidated by it and always knows just what to do to get us up and running again promptly. A few years ago I had Tom Jean, Syracuse Energy Systems, install central air in my home. I was completely happy with everything then, so decided to come back when I needed my furnace updated. Tom did not pressure me, but gave me information on furnace types and which ones would be best for my home and personal needs. He gave me extra informative resources to help me make my decision. When the technicians came to install my furnace and humidifier, they were friendly, professional, and respectful of my home and privacy. They were prompt, worked diligently until the job was complete, and cleaned up all traces of their presence. They kept me up to date as the work progressed, and were concerned that I was aware of reasons for noise levels, gas smells, etc. When the job was complete, the new furnace and humidifier system's features were explained to me in detail. During this whole process, communication was a breeze. The office manager, Terry, was always prompt and thorough when returning emails, answering questions, and taking care of rebates through National Grid. I would highly recommend Tom Jean, Syracuse Energy Systems and their professional team.

Very pleased with Syracuse Energy Systems. We are returning customers, and we use them exclusively for furnace repairs and service. The technician just left for a routine furnace cleaning; he took the time to go over what he was doing and explained everything that will need doing in the future. It has been my experience that other operations are less inclined to do this kind of thing. Everyone just wants to get in and get out. This meant a lot to me because it is the first major snowfall of the year, and as we were the last service call of the night, I'm sure he wanted to get home.
